  • WHAT IS TOO STRONG COFFEE?


    We are a coffee for causers.  We believe in celebrating honesty, promoting sustainability and pushing for progress.  We partner with various independent news outlets, organizations and influencers by bringing you a coffee brand for causers. We started Too Strong Coffee in 2020 so we could support organizations with progressive ideals because we share their vision of pursuing truth, challenging the establishment and driving positive change all the while allowing you to enjoy a tasty cup of coffee.

  • WHY IS TOO STRONG COFFEE AMAZING?


    All of our coffee is USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified and custom roasted to perfection.  Our bags are recyclable and our coffee’s beans are sourced from environmentally conscious organic farming throughout the world. By being Fair Trade Certified, we guarantee farmers with price security, which they are able to use for sustainable production and projects that help benefit their communities and improve their businesses.

  • WHAT DOES FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED MEAN?


    When you see a product with the Fair Trade Certified seal, you can be sure it was made according to rigorous social, environmental, and economic standards. FairTradeCertified.org works closely on the ground with producers and certifies transactions between companies and their suppliers to ensure that the people making Fair Trade Certified goods work in safe conditions, protect the environment, build sustainable livelihoods, and earn additional money to empower and uplift their communities.

  • WHAT DOES USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC MEAN?

    Right now, the most meaningful label on your food, in terms of upholding specific government requirements, is the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) organic seal. For a product to be certified organic, it’s required to meet specific standards:

    - Organic crops cannot be grown with synthetic fertilizers, synthetic pesticides or sewage sludge.

    - Organic crops cannot be genetically engineered or irradiated.

    - Animals must eat only organically grown feed (without animal byproducts) and can’t be treated with synthetic hormones or antibiotics.

    - Animals must have access to the outdoors, and ruminants (hoofed animals, including cows) must have access to pasture. 

    - Animals cannot be cloned.

  • HOW SHOULD I STORE THIS COFFEE?

    The best way to store coffee is in an airtight container in a dark cupboard. There’s no need to freeze! Just keep your beans away from sunlight, air, and humidity.  The good news is that our premium bags allow you to do just that because they are opaque black with a one-way valve that does not allow oxygen or humidity inside.

  • HOW LONG WILL MY COFFEE LAST?

    This does two things that are extremely important to keeping coffee fresh. First, when coffee beans react with oxygen in the air they begin to turn stale.  Oxygen might be good for us but is terrible for coffee.  By not allowing oxygen to interact with the freshly roasted coffee beans, you are preserving the coffee beans, and as such, guaranteeing the freshness of your coffee for longer periods of time.  Second, the valve releases carbon dioxide which is constantly building up inside the bag due to the roasting process and if not released would make the bag explode.  Our coffee bags with a valve provides an ingenious way of keeping your coffee beans in good shape so that each cup you make tastes as fresh as ever.

  • WHERE IS MY COFFEE ROASTED?

    Our coffee beans are harvested from around the world.  The beans are custom roasted in the United States.

  • IS TOO STRONG COFFEE PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?

    Yes, our packaging is recyclable.

  • WHAT SHIPPING CARRIERS DO YOU USE?

    We use the United State Postal Service (USPS) for our deliveries. 

  • HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

    We send you an email with tracking information once your order is shipped.  All you have to do is click on the tracking number and you can see where your coffee is.

  • WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING RATES?

    We charge a flat $5.99 for shipping and handling on orders up to 1 lbs. and $9.99 for shipping and handling for all other orders.

  • WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

    At the moment we only ship in the United States.  But if you live in a different country and want to order please email us at CustomerService@TooStrongCoffee.com so that we can prioritize your country when we expand our shipping area.

  • DO YOU SHIP TO AN APO/FPO/DPO ADDRESSES?

    Yes, we do.

  • WHEN WILL MY SHIPMENT ARRIVE?

    We process all orders Mon-Fri that come in before 12PM Eastern Time the same day.  All other orders are processed the next business day.  USPS will then take 2-3 days to get the package to your address.  So most customers should expect to receive their coffee in 4-5 days excluding weekends.  It’s well worth the wait.   

  • WHAT ORGANIZATIONS DO YOU DONATE TO?

  • HOW MUCH MONEY GOES TO SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS?

    Too Strong Coffee contributes between 3% and 15.5% of all revenues generated from any products we sell to our partner progressive organizations that include Justice Democrats (https://www.justicedemocrats.com/), Wolf Pac (https://wolf-pac.com/), The Young Turks (https://tyt.com/), and Rebellion Pac (https://rebellionpac.com/).

    There is no limit.  The MORE you buy, the MORE we donate.

  • HOW CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER AFTER IT’S BEEN PLACED?

    We process orders very quickly and in order to keep our costs down we are unable to change orders once they are placed.

  • HOW DO I RETURN/EXCHANGE A PRODUCT?

    Coffee mugs can be exchanged if they arrive damaged within 5 days of delivery.  If there is physical damage to the package or you feel it is unsafe to consume, bags of coffee can be returned for equal exchange of the same blend.  For all return or exchange inquiries please email us at CustomerService@TooStrongCoffee.com

  • WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?

    Currently customers are able to use any major credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

  • WHERE DO I ENTER A DISCOUNT/PROMO CODE?

    You can enter your code into a box labeled “discount code” on the Information, Shipping, or Payment page of the checkout process and click “Apply.”  Your discount will be reflected immediately.
